The Purchase to Preserve

We were given the wonderful opportunity to purchase the Old Soddy Bank Building to preserve for future generations. This is one of if not the only remaining historical building in the old part of town. We are currently raising the funds to make the purchase to preserve. We hope you can help make this happen!   We have extended our fund raiser until April 1st, 2021.  We are well on our way to collecting the money needed to purchase the building.  But we are still short so we would like extend our fund raising time.  If you have not made a donation to the Capital Campaign we certainly hope you will. We are a non-profit 501.c.3.  We can provide you with the information needed to be able to count your donation off of your income taxes if you so choose.   You will find the information listed under the Capital Campaign page on this website.

We have closed the Museum until the first Friday in April.    The building is now 100 years old and when it is cold it is very hard to heat.  Therefore we have closed until April 2nd & 3rd, 2021.  While we are closed please go through your old photos and look for photos and artifacts you think we might like to display in the museum.  We are  always looking for one more photo or relic to add to our very diverse collection.  We have a copier on site and can make copies of any photo you bring to us.

Closed until April 2nd & 3rd, 2021
